About the Author

Daniel, born in the mountains of Colorado, and having lived the last seventeen years of his life internationally, has a passion for discipleship and teaching whenever and wherever possible. Aside from traveling and teaching in different ministries, churches, and organizations, Daniel serves as a part of the Global Eldership Team for Bible Education and Leadership Training (BELT) representing the non-English-speaking Americas, serves as the Field Coordinator for the International Discipleship Training School Centre (IDTSC) in Mexico, the Strategic Alliance Coordinator for Bible Translation in Mexico in YWAM, is a part of the Bible school for the Nations Regional Team, and serves with other responsibilities both within YWAM and outside of YWAM.

Daniel is a member of the Evangelical State Alliance for pastors and leaders in the Mexican State of Michoacán and has a heart for seeing individuals transformed by both the spoken and written Word of God. His heart of leadership development and discipleship has opened doors to minister in many different nations; and together with his wife, Katie, and three children - Caleb, Abigael, and Ezekiel - they are currently the founding leaders of YWAM Morelia, Mexico, an international and interdenominational missions movement.

Daniel and Katie often speak of family as the first passion and ministry but love to invest in those around them as well. Whether it’s putting a Bible in every home in Mexico, pushing forth Bible translation for every people group in Mexico, equipping and training other leaders, or just teaching and preaching, Daniel’s heart for truth and radical transformation is evident in all that he does. This has morphed from traveling and teaching to daily devotionals and online resources through extraordinary training, to giving conferences, studying to be a Bible Translation Consultant and now writing.
